The short version
- Print orders are final. All sales of printed goods are final. We do not offer refunds on printed orders.
- Orders cannot be cancelled or changed. Submitting an order releases it straight into print production. From that moment it cannot be cancelled, paused, edited or recalled.
- If we get it wrong, we make it right. If a job is defective or does not match the file you approved, we reprint it or credit your account (see defects and errors).
- Order totals are shown before payment. You pay for each order, including shipping and applicable tax.
Why print orders are final
Every item we produce is made to order from the artwork you supply — your stock, your size, your finishing, your imposition. A printed job cannot be returned to stock, resold, or used by anyone else, so it has no value to us once it has been produced.
Materials and production time are committed to your custom order. Please review every detail before placing your order.
Order cancellations and changes
An order cannot be cancelled after it is submitted. When you press Submit order, the job is released to production immediately and automatically — files are imposed, plates or raster files are generated, and the job is scheduled onto a press run alongside other customers' work.
For the same reason we cannot change the quantity, stock, finishing, shipping address or artwork of a submitted order. Please check your job carefully before you submit it, including a final look at your uploaded files.
If you spot a problem straight away, email Support@PacificTradePrinter.com immediately. We will tell you honestly whether the job has already been committed to a press run. In the rare case that it has not, we will do what we can — but we cannot promise it, and no order is guaranteed to be stoppable.
Defects, errors and reprints
Final sale does not mean you carry the cost of our mistakes. If a delivered order is defective, materially different from the specification you ordered, or does not match the print-ready file you supplied, we will reprint the job at our cost or credit your account for it, at our discretion.
To make a claim:
- Email Support@PacificTradePrinter.com within 7 business days of delivery.
- Include your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs of the delivered product and the shipping carton.
- Keep the full delivered quantity. We may ask you to return it, at our expense, before the claim is settled.
Claims are resolved by reprint or account credit. We do not issue cash refunds on printed orders.
The following are not defects and are not covered:
- Errors present in the artwork you supplied — spelling, layout, low resolution, missing bleed, wrong colour space, incorrect trim or fold marks.
- Colour variation within commercial tolerance. Printing is a physical process; colour shifts between runs, presses, stocks and devices, and screens do not match ink. We do not guarantee an exact colour match unless a hard-copy contract proof was purchased and approved.
- Cutting, folding and finishing variation within normal industry tolerance (approximately 1/16" on trim and score positions).
- Quantity variation of up to 5% over or under on some processes, which is standard trade practice.
- Delays or damage caused by the shipping carrier — see the shipping policy.
Account and order billing
Printing, packaging, shipping and applicable tax are charged per order. Your order total is shown before you submit payment. Payments are processed by Square; we do not store your full card number.
If you believe you were billed in error, email Support@PacificTradePrinter.com within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct billing mistakes.
